SSE Airtricity announces a price reduction for its gas and electricity customers. Domestic electricity and gas rates will be reduced by 10%.

DUBLIN : Good news! SSE Airtricity has declared that it will be lowering the cost of its standard household energy plans. Starting at the beginning of July, domestic electricity and gas rates will be reduced by 10%. The standing charges are not going to change.

Approximately 250,000 electricity and 90,000 gas customers nationwide will be impacted by the announcement. This marks the energy provider’s second price reduction of the year; the first was a 12.8% and 11.5% drop in gas and electricity rates, respectively, back in February.
